The North Shore Cyclists (NSC) is a recreational bike club which draws its membership primarily from the North Shore area of Massachusetts. Most of our bike rides are routed along the back roads and shorelines north of Boston. In addition to our scheduled weekly rides, the club holds cookouts, weekend excursions, and special rides (including our century in August). Our 200 plus members span the spectrum from beginning cyclists who join to learn more about the sport to advanced cyclists who participate to be challenged by fast paceline riding. Regardless of skill level, NSC members share the desire to have fun, to cycle safely, and to meet other people who enjoy cycling as much as they do. Bring a friend, if you wish, because ALL RIDES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
The YMCA of the North Shore has been making an impact in the
North Shore communities since 1858. We have a 145-year history of
meeting community needs. We serve eleven communities including: Beverly, Essex,
Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester, Marblehead, Rockport, Salem,
Swampscott and Wenham. We are proud to be considered part of the
largest not-for-profit community service organization in America.
As the heart of community life in neighborhoods and towns, we work to meet the
health and social service needs of nearly 50,000 North Shore men, women and
children.
The North Shore Rugby Football Club is a newly established
rugby club serving the area North of Boston. We have many players new to the game along
with experienced veterans. New players are always welcome and the only requirements
are to be 18 years old and willing to put in some hard work. Rugby is a growing game
here in the United States and particularly in New England where there are over 170
teams.
The club plays a fall season, spring season, and tournaments in between. Rugby is a
very rewarding sport both on the field and through the social side of things. Please check

The North Shore Spirit is a minor-league baseball team which
plays its home games at Fraser Field in Lynn. The team captured the first-half
championship in their inaugural season playing in the independent Northeast League.
Owner Nick Lopardo has revamped Fraser Field and made a family-friendly environment where
you can enjoy some quality baseball at a reasonable price! Fraser Field is located on
Western Ave. (107) in Lynn.

The North Shore Baseball League and its predecessors have existed in one form or another
since the inception of baseball in the late 1800's. The league has historically drawn
teams from the North Shore of Boston to southern New Hampshire. There are currently eleven
teams in the league that span the geographical region from Lynn to Kingston, New
Hampshire. The league is highly competitive and attracts talented players with a passion
for baseball. Most have played college baseball and many have played professionally. The
season includes a 24 game schedule beginning in late May, participation in the American
Amateur Baseball Congress Stan Musial Division State Tournament in late July, and
concludes with the league playoffs in August.
